The inspiration comes from an Irish
cliff called the Giant's Causeway.
This site has volcanic origin and is characterized by a vast amount
of basalt columns with various polygonal shapes.
Since this natural wonder has been forged by the fire seemed perfect
to create a fireplace.
I thought "Basalt" in two versions, the white ethanol-fed and black
wood-fed.
The chimney is replaced by a steel hood to be installed on the
ceiling.
Both fireplaces are made of glazed ceramic.
